Mountain Sky Hand Crafted Local Soap

Mountain Sky Soaps had a very humble beginning in the basement of Raynald Losier's and Nina George's Winlaw home basement. Desiring to produce a natural all-vegetable based soap product, the two former anthropologists turned entrepreneurs created Mountain Sky. After lots of failed experiments and 10 years on, the successful and popular Mountain Sky soap line came together. Their products, 11 natural soaps, 2 shampoo bars and one shaving soap are made in their 7000+ square foot manufacturing facility in Crescent Valley.
"We still have our basic soap line that we had started with. People like a reliable good quality affordable product, and that is what we proudly deliver" says Nina George. Mountain Sky Soaps are found across Canada in many popular Health food stores.
Mountain Sky also works with Canadian Food for Children, donating thousands of dollars worth of soap ends each year to needy folks around the globe. Mountain Sky saves metal buckets and soap ends for the non-profit organization. Each bucket is filled with donated clothes and sundries and shipped to needy destinations. The buckets are also needed and considered very precious. Previously Canadian Food for Children were collecting soap leftover from hotels until Mountain Sky offered to send their soaps.
