POTENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS:
-This cooling vegetable is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine in cases of heat congestion in the lungs, which in early stages would typically have symptoms such as fever, chills, dry cough, sore throat and thick mucous discharge

-BOK CHOY aids the body in healthy digestion
-The rich amounts of beta-carotene present in BOK CHOY can help reduce the risk of certain cancers

NUTRIENT PROFILE:
BOK CHOY is a great source of beta-carotene, vitamin C, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium.

CULINARY USES:
It is most often used in Traditional Chinese or Japanese
stir-fries, wonton soup, salads, pasta, stews or sautéed. The leaves can also be used to wrap food morsels.

TIP:
BOK CHOY is a member of the Brassica family of vegetables. Brassicas are high in sulforphane an anti-cancer, antimicrobial nutrient.
