Community Donation Day

Event Date: December 21st, 2010

On the Third Tuesday of each month the Kootenay Co-op donates 1% of total sales to a local non-profit organization in our community.

On Tuesday December 21st the recipient of this month's donation is Friends of the Family.

Nelson Friends of the Family provides initial emergency monetary aid and administrative guidance to families of children stricken with serious illness or accident and assists individual family support groups in fundraising for long term care.
Nelson Friends of the Family supports families who live within School District #8.
